A sharp knife is essential in any kitchen. We have a wonderful variety of knives at The Good Cooking Store, and each of us has a different favorite. However, we all agree that the Kyocera Ceramic Knife is a great tool to own.

Ceramic knives are incredibly sharp due to the hardness of ceramic itself. (Only diamond is harder as a natural substance.) These knives hold their sharpness about 10 times as long as stainless steel knives. They actually make cutting vegetables fun!

Yup, that’s it. Honestly, life is so much better when you have a knife that actually cuts through a butternut squash or a roast. You save time and energy. Besides, a sharp knife is actually much safer because it’s less likely to slip while you’re cutting something and nick your fingers.

Since we opened The Good Cooking Store, we’ve all purchased a few knives. But a good knife deserves a good home and we weren’t sure where to store ours. Then we discovered the Kapoosh Knife Block.
